2012 Vietnam Badminton International Challenge was held in Hanoi, Vietnam from 26 March to 1 April 2012. Macau badminton team was lead by Team Leader Lu Rong, and Coach – Gong Jiannan follow by Athletes Cheang Wai Lok, Wong Chi Chong, Iao Mei Ha and Ieong Bek San.
In the first day event, Cheang Wai Lok defeated Chinese Taipei with the scores of 21:13. 8:21 and 22:20, on the other hand, Wong Chi Chong is defeated by the host man with scores of 16:21, 13:21. In the Girl’s Team, Ieong Bek San defeated Minh Hien Dang from Vietnam and while Iao Mei Hao was eliminated by Singapore.
Cheang Wai Lok and Ieong Bek San are both eliminated in the second round while all other players in Doubles are eliminated in the first round.
