Macau Sports Delegation participated the 2013 East Asian Games from 6th to 15th October which was held on Tianjin, China. Macau sent the team which included captain Ms. Carvalho, coach Mr. Joao Poupinho, Ms. Yu Lihui and four players. In Women’s doubles, top 32 for round of 16, Rong Wang and Zhibo Zhang competed with Chinese Taipei athletes, won to rivals 2:0. However, they were lost to rivals 1:2 by Japanese athletes in the next match. On the other hand, woman’s single, two athletes competed with Japanese athlete and Chinese Taipei athlete respectively. These two championships both lost to rivals 0:2.
